Crystal Crop Protection Ltd has announced the launch of two new crop protection products designed to support Indian farmers in enhancing productivity and tackling crop-specific challenges. The newly introduced RICEACT is an early post-emergence herbicide formulated specifically for paddy crops, while JIVORA is an advanced insecticide targeting major sucking pests in cotton cultivation.
RICEACT combines Triafamone (20%) and Ethoxysulfuron (10%), offering broad-spectrum weed control by effectively managing grasses, sedges, and broadleaf weeds. It is recommended for use 8 to 12 days after transplanting or direct seeding and is expected to cover approximately 3 lakh acres, benefiting nearly 2.5 to 3 lakh paddy farmers.
On the other hand, JIVORA provides multi-mode action contact, systemic, and translaminar—against pests like whiteflies, jassids, and aphids in cotton crops. The product is projected to be used across 5 lakh acres, assisting up to 5 lakh cotton farmers in protecting their yield and ensuring better crop health.
According to Crystal Crop Protection, the launch of these two products is part of the company’s continued focus on introducing farmer-friendly solutions backed by robust research. Both RICEACT and JIVORA will be made available in multiple pack sizes through the company’s distribution network across major agricultural states, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Punjab.
With India’s agrochemical market poised for growth, these launches are expected to strengthen Crystal Crop’s herbicide and insecticide portfolios while promoting sustainable and profitable farming practices.
