India–Africa Seed Summit 2025 Set to Boost Agri-Partnerships and Seed Trade
The Indian Chamber of Food and Agriculture (ICFA) is all set to host the India–Africa Seed Summit 2025 from September 11–13 in Hyderabad, widely known as India’s seed capital. This prestigious summit will bring together key stakeholders from government, industry, research, and development sectors across India and more than 20 African countries to explore new avenues for cooperation and sustainable partnerships in the seed sector.
Currently, the India–Africa seed trade stands at an estimated $20 million, but experts believe there is significant potential to scale this up to $500 million over the next 7 to 10 years. The summit aims to pave the way for this growth through strategic collaboration, policy alignment, and mutual investment.
