The foundation ceremony was marked by the special presence of the University’s Vice Chancellor, Dr. K.K. Singh, along with several senior faculty members and officials. The new hostel will feature 30 rooms with a total accommodation capacity for 60 students.
Designed with modern architecture and in line with current technical standards, the hostel will include facilities such as a well-equipped kitchen, mess, common room, clean drinking water, uninterrupted electricity, internet access, and robust security arrangements. These amenities aim to provide a safe, hygienic, and encouraging environment for students to pursue their academic goals.
Dean of Technology, Dr. Jaiveer Yadav, highlighted that the hostel would reflect a blend of functionality and aesthetics, ensuring a secure and inspiring atmosphere for academic and personal development.
Present at the ceremony were University Registrar Mr. Ramji Singh, Dean Student Welfare Dr. D.K. Singh, Director Research Dr. Kamal Khiladi, Director Extension Dr. P.K. Singh, along with Dr. Vivek Dham, Dr. Gopal Singh, Dr. U.P. Shahi, Dr. Vijay Singh, various hostel wardens, and senior faculty members.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr. K.K. Singh emphasized the university’s commitment to not only providing quality education but also improving the overall standard of living for its female students. “This hostel is a significant step towards empowering our girl students and ensuring they have the best environment to grow intellectually and socially,” he said.
Upon completion, the new girls’ hostel will not only offer safe and comfortable housing but also contribute to the holistic development of the students. It is expected to create a nurturing space that supports both academic excellence and personal growth.
