Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Engages with Young Leaders at Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026

Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Rural Development, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, interacted with young leaders from across the country during the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026, held at Bharat Mandapam. The interaction took place during a dedicated session featuring presentations before a panel of Union Ministers, marking a key milestone in the dialogue aimed at strengthening youth participation in nation-building.

The session provided a platform for young leaders to present their ideas, policy suggestions, and grassroots innovations on a wide range of themes. Key focus areas included building a green and sustainable developed India, enhancing agricultural productivity through smart and sustainable farming practices, and balancing tradition with innovation in the making of modern India. The presentations reflected the diversity, creativity, and problem-solving capabilities of India’s youth, aligning closely with the national vision of inclusive and sustainable development.

Addressing the young participants, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan emphasized the importance of collective responsibility and purposeful living in the process of nation-building. Referring to the core values of Indian civilisation, he stated that life gains true meaning when it is dedicated to the service of society and the nation. He encouraged young leaders to set ambitious goals and pursue them with discipline, commitment, and perseverance.

The Union Minister underlined that dedication, focus, and inner strength are essential qualities of effective leadership. He also appreciated the guidance and vision of the Prime Minister, under whose leadership platforms such as the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue have been created to ensure meaningful youth engagement in governance and policymaking.

The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 is being organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports through the MY Bharat platform. The initiative aims to institutionalise youth participation in governance and policy formulation. The successful conduct of the dialogue at Bharat Mandapam reflects the Government of India’s commitment to recognising young citizens as key partners in national development and to incorporating their voices in the journey towards a developed India.
