The inauguration was performed by Mr. Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, in the presence of Dr. Raghupati Singhania, Chairman & Managing Director, and Mr. Anshuman Singhania, Managing Director of JK Tyre, alongside the MSIL leadership team.

Phase III is part of a multi-phase investment of over ₹1,000 crore at Banmore, enhancing the plant’s production to 30,000 PCR tyres per day. Dr. Raghupati Singhania stated that the expansion underscores JK Tyre’s focus on technology-led innovation, capacity enhancement, and sustainable, high-quality production to meet growing passenger vehicle demand.
