French Agritech Startup UBEES Secures €8 Million to Scale Bee-Powered Regenerative Farming

French agritech startup UBEES, which integrates beekeeping with regenerative agriculture practices, has raised €8 million in Series A funding to expand its operations globally. The capital injection aims to accelerate the adoption of pollination-based solutions that enhance soil health, biodiversity, and crop resilience, positioning UBEES at the forefront of climate-smart farming innovations.

UBEES leverages the natural behavior of bees to support regenerative agricultural practices. By combining beekeeping with sustainable crop management, the company promotes ecosystem health while simultaneously improving farm productivity. Its approach not only strengthens pollination efficiency but also fosters healthier soils and increased biodiversity, contributing to more resilient and sustainable farming systems.

The Series A funding round attracted a mix of climate-focused investors and agritech venture funds, reflecting growing investor interest in nature-positive and regenerative agricultural solutions. The capital will be used to expand UBEES’ technology platform, scale operations across European and global markets, and support research into optimizing pollination strategies for diverse crops and environments.

“Our vision is to create a farm ecosystem where nature and agriculture thrive together,” said UBEES’ founder. “By harnessing the power of bees, we can deliver measurable improvements in crop resilience and soil health, while promoting biodiversity and supporting farmers in adopting climate-smart practices.”

The startup’s model aligns with a broader trend of integrating ecological approaches into mainstream agriculture. With climate change and environmental degradation presenting growing challenges, investors and policymakers are increasingly backing solutions that combine economic viability with ecological benefits.

Experts believe that initiatives like UBEES’ could set a template for the next generation of agritech innovations, where regenerative practices, technology, and biodiversity work hand-in-hand to create sustainable and profitable farming models. As global demand for climate-resilient agriculture rises, UBEES’ expansion demonstrates the potential of leveraging natural systems to achieve both environmental and economic gains.
