Gulf Oil and Mahindra Tractors Strengthen Decade-Long Alliance with Multi-Year Renewal

Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited (GOLIL), one of India’s leading lubricant manufacturers, and the Farm Equipment Business (Mahindra Tractors Division) of Mahindra & Mahindra Limited have announced the renewal of their multi-year strategic partnership, reinforcing a collaboration that has spanned over a decade.

The agreement was formally concluded at a ceremony held in Mumbai. This renewal marks the longest tenure extension in the history of the partnership, reflecting deep mutual trust, aligned strategic priorities, and a shared long-term vision between the two organizations.

Ravi Chawla, Managing Director and CEO of Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited, stated that the renewal underscores the strength of the relationship and shared values between the companies. Over the past decade, Gulf Oil has consistently delivered reliable performance and service excellence, contributing to sustained brand value enhancement for Mahindra. He added that this renewed phase represents a new chapter focused on innovation, stronger channel engagement, and long-term value creation for customers.

Under the renewed multi-year agreement, Gulf Oil will continue to retain the largest share of business throughout the partnership period. The collaboration emphasizes joint commitments toward technology-driven innovation, improved supply chain efficiencies, and enhanced customer service across the Mahindra tractor ecosystem.

The strategic association began in 2011 as a co-branding initiative with Mahindra Automotive and was extended to the Tractors Division in 2014. Over the past 12 years, the relationship has evolved into one of Gulf Oil’s longest-standing OEM partnerships, built on consistent product performance, service reliability, innovation, and market expansion.

Both companies have strengthened their market positioning through investments in digital initiatives, supply chain optimization, and joint marketing campaigns. These efforts have not only driven business growth but also created added value for channel partners and end customers.
