Amity University Hosts Inspiring Guest Lecture by Prof. Kadambot Siddique, Marks a Special Celebration

The Amity Food and Agriculture Foundation organized an insightful guest lecture on “The Multifaceted Role of Biochar for Sustainable Agriculture and the Environment,” bringing together students, researchers, and faculty for an engaging academic exchange. The session was delivered by globally respected agricultural scientist Professor Kadambot Siddique, whose pioneering work in sustainable farming continues to influence research and policy worldwide.

During his lecture, Professor Siddique highlighted the diverse potential of biochar—from improving soil health and nutrient retention to contributing to long-term environmental resilience.
