Tropical Agrosystem Launches National Soil Health Campaign in India

Tropical Agrosystem Pvt. Ltd., a Chennai-based agri-input company, has launched a new nationwide initiative called #SawalKalKaHai, or “The Question is About Tomorrow,” aimed at promoting sustainable agriculture and soil health awareness across India.

The campaign focuses on educating both farmers and consumers about the long-term implications of soil degradation, overuse of chemical inputs, and unsustainable farming practices. With nearly 30% of India’s soil reported to be degraded, the initiative urges urgent collective action to preserve land fertility and ensure food security for future generations.

“Sustainable agriculture isn’t just a farmer’s concern it’s a societal responsibility,” said a Tropical Agrosystem spokesperson. “We want people across the country to ask themselves: are today’s practices compromising tomorrow’s food security?”

The campaign includes a series of on-ground workshops, expert-led training sessions, and digital outreach programs that emphasize practical solutions like organic farming, bio-fertilizers, composting, and water-efficient irrigation methods. Urban audiences are also encouraged to support environmentally responsible farming by choosing organic produce and reducing food waste.

To boost impact, Tropical Agrosystem is partnering with agri-scientists, farmer producer organizations (FPOs), KrishiVigyanKendras, and NGOs across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Punjab. The first phase aims to reach more than 500 villages.

Through videos, case studies, and farmer success stories circulated on social media and WhatsApp, the company is amplifying its message: healthy soil is not just good for crops it reduces input costs, increases climate resilience, and supports long-term livelihood stability.

#SawalKalKaHai is not just a campaign, but a movement aligned with India’s broader goals of doubling farmer incomes and promoting environmentally sound agriculture. With growing participation, the initiative aims to spark a nationwide shift toward more responsible farming and conscious consumption.
