Renewable energy startup Kisani Urjaa, which focuses on sustainable energy solutions for the agriculture sector, has announced the appointment of Anand Behl as its new Chief Business Officer (CBO).

Behl brings over two decades of experience in the clean energy and agri-tech space. In his new role, he will lead the company’s business strategy, expansion plans, and partnerships aimed at scaling renewable energy adoption among Indian farmers.

Speaking on the appointment, Kisani Urjaa’s leadership expressed confidence that Behl’s expertise will help accelerate the company’s mission to make solar and bio-energy solutions more accessible and affordable in rural India.

Prior to joining Kisani Urjaa, Anand Behl held senior positions in several prominent energy firms and played a key role in launching farmer-centric clean energy programs.
