Semina Agro Signs MoU with Bharat Rural Livelihoods Foundation to Boost Rural Agri-Ecosystem

In a landmark move toward inclusive and sustainable agricultural development, Semina Agro Pvt. Ltd. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bharat Rural Livelihoods Foundation (BRLF), a Government of India initiative dedicated to strengthening civil society action in rural India.This strategic partnership aims to empower farmers, strengthen rural livelihoods, and promote sustainable agriculture in underserved regions across the country.

The MoU was formally signed by Mr. Kuldip Singh, CEO of BRLF, and Dr. Mohit Kumar, MD & CEO of Semina Agro Pvt. Ltd., in a ceremony that celebrated the shared commitment to grassroots transformation.

Key Focus Areas of the Collaboration:

🌱 Boosting Farmer Collectivization and supporting the formation and scaling of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs)

 Improving Market Access and fostering agri-entrepreneurship for smallholder farmers

 Expanding Training & Capacity Building for rural youth, women, and farming communities

 Advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through environmentally responsible agri-solutions

Speaking at the event, Dr. Mohit Kumar noted, “This partnership is not just about agriculture it’s about enabling self-reliance in India’s rural heartlands. By combining BRLF’s grassroots presence with Semina Agro’s agri-innovation, we can catalyze real, measurable impact.”

Mr. Kuldip Singh added, “Rural prosperity begins with empowered farmers. This MoU sets the stage for collaborative action that uplifts communities and strengthens rural economies.”

This collaboration signifies a new era of public-private synergy aimed at building resilient farming systems and delivering long-term value to India’s agricultural sector especially in marginalized and resource-constrained geographies.
