AITMC Ventures Limited Joins DDU-GKY 2.0 Initiative to Strengthen Rural Skill Development in Tamil Nadu

AITMC Ventures Limited participated in the Orientation-cum-MoU Signing programme with Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs) under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) 2.0, marking a significant milestone in advancing skill development and employment opportunities for rural youth in Tamil Nadu.

The event was jointly organised by the Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihoods Mission (TNSRLM) and the Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women (TNCDW) and held at the Annai Teresa Mahalir Valaagam, Nungambakkam, Chennai. Representatives from various implementing agencies, government officials, and sector stakeholders attended the programme, which focused on orientation, policy alignment, and formalisation of partnerships under the upgraded DDU-GKY 2.0 framework.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed during the programme formalises AITMC Ventures Limited’s role as a Project Implementing Agency, enabling the organisation to contribute to structured, industry-aligned skill training initiatives aimed at rural youth. DDU-GKY 2.0 places strong emphasis on outcome-based training, wage and self-employment pathways, and sustainable livelihood creation, aligning closely with AITMC Ventures Limited’s vision of inclusive and impact-driven development.

During the orientation sessions, officials from TNSRLM and TNCDW outlined the objectives, operational guidelines, and performance expectations under DDU-GKY 2.0. The programme highlighted the importance of quality training delivery, strong industry linkages, post-placement support, and continuous monitoring to ensure long-term employability for beneficiaries.

AITMC Ventures Limited reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the mission’s goals by leveraging its expertise in skill development, training delivery, and employment facilitation. Through this collaboration, the organisation aims to empower rural youth with market-relevant skills, enhance their employability, and enable access to dignified and sustainable livelihood opportunities.

The MoU signing reflects a shared commitment between the government and implementing agencies to build a robust skill ecosystem in Tamil Nadu. By strengthening partnerships and aligning training programmes with industry needs, DDU-GKY 2.0 seeks to create measurable social and economic impact, contributing to rural prosperity and inclusive growth across the state.

This collaboration represents an important step toward transforming the aspirations of rural youth into tangible employment outcomes through focused, accountable, and result-oriented skill development initiatives.
