Egyptian Agriculture Delegation Concludes Visit to The Netherlands

precision agriculture, and strategies to enhance crop productivity. The delegation also explored opportunities for collaboration in agri-research, food processing, and supply chain management.

Egyptian officials emphasized that adopting Dutch agricultural innovations could play a crucial role in improving water efficiency, boosting yields, and supporting Egypt’s national goals for food security and sustainable development.

The Dutch hosts highlighted successful practices in high-tech horticulture, vertical farming, and dairy technology that could be adapted to Egypt’s unique climate and farming systems. Joint initiatives in training and knowledge exchange were also proposed.

Experts noted that such international cooperation not only promotes the transfer of advanced technologies but also strengthens trade ties and investment opportunities between the two countries.

Following the visit, the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture expressed optimism that continued collaboration with The Netherlands would accelerate modernization of the country’s agricultural sector and provide long-term benefits for farmers and agribusinesses.
