Escorts Kubota Reports Steady Growth in June and Q1 FY26 Tractor Sales

Escorts Kubota Limited has maintained its strong foothold in the Indian tractor industry, reporting a stable performance in its wholesale sales for June 2025 and the first quarter (April–June) of the financial year 2025–26. Backed by favorable market conditions and an optimistic rural outlook, the company has shown resilience amid stiff competition.

June 2025 Sales Performance: Domestic Market Holds Steady, Exports Surge

In June 2025, Escorts Kubota recorded wholesale domestic tractor sales of 10,997 units, slightly down by 0.1% compared to 11,011 units sold in June 2024. This minor decline is viewed in light of last year’s high base. The company attributes the steady demand to timely monsoon onset, higher Minimum Support Prices (MSP) for Kharif crops, and expanded Kharif sowing areas, which have collectively bolstered farmer sentiment.

In the export segment, Escorts Kubota delivered an impressive performance with 501 units shipped overseas, marking a 114.1% year-on-year increase compared to 234 units in June 2024. This notable jump reflects the brand’s growing acceptance and reach in global markets.

Overall, the company sold 11,498 tractors (domestic + export) in June 2025, a 2.2% growth over 11,245 units sold in the same month last year. The combined sales include products from Farmtrac, Powertrac, and Kubota tractor lines.

Q1 FY26 Sales Overview: Growth in Exports Drives Overall Numbers

For the first quarter of FY26 (April to June 2025), Escorts Kubota sold 30,581 units, up 0.7% from 30,370 units in the same period last year. While domestic sales in Q1 declined by 1.9% to 28,848 units (from 29,409 units in Q1 FY25), the export segment saw a robust growth of 80.3%, with 1,733 units shipped compared to 961 units in the previous fiscal year’s Q1.
