India and Croatia Sign MoU to Boost Agricultural Cooperation

In a step towards strengthening bilateral relations, India and Croatia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focused on agricultural cooperation. The agreement aims to promote collaboration in areas such as agri-tech, crop diversification, food processing, and sustainable farming practices.

The MoU was signed during high-level talks between officials from both nations. According to sources, the agreement is expected to pave the way for joint research initiatives, knowledge sharing, and increased investment opportunities in the agriculture sector.

Officials noted that the partnership will also encourage the exchange of technologies and best practices to improve productivity and food security. With growing global emphasis on sustainable development, both countries view the agreement as a timely step toward modernizing agriculture and enhancing mutual trade.

The move is seen as part of India’s broader strategy to expand agri-diplomacy and connect its farm sector with international markets. Discussions are already underway to form joint working groups that will oversee the implementation of the agreement and explore new areas of collaboration.

This MoU is expected to open new doors for farmers, researchers, and agri-businesses in both countries, building a long-term partnership rooted in innovation and sustainability.
