the highly anticipated Indian Tractor of the Year (ITOTY) 2025 Jury Round is set to unfold, bringing together some of the most respected names in the field of agricultural engineering, mechanisation, and innovation. This prestigious event will witness expert deliberations and evaluations that will ultimately decide the most outstanding tractor of the year.

The 2025 jury brings together an impressive blend of technical brilliance, industry expertise, and grassroots agricultural insight, ensuring a holistic and credible evaluation process.

Meet the Distinguished Jury Panel for ITOTY 2025:

Dr. C.R. Mehta (Jury Chairman)
Director, ICAR–Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering (CIAE), Bhopal
A leading authority in farm machinery, ergonomics, and conservation agriculture, Dr. Mehta has over 34 years of experience at ICAR-CIAE. His deep expertise and leadership continue to shape the future of agricultural engineering in India.

Dr. L.P. Gite
Former Project Coordinator, AICRP on Ergonomics and Safety in Agriculture, ICAR-CIAE
A pioneer in ergonomics for farm machinery, Dr. Gite has dedicated 32 years to improving tractor design and agricultural safety. With 50+ published research papers and multiple accolades, including the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Indian Society of Ergonomics, he brings unmatched academic rigor to the panel.

Mr. Arindam Maulick
Industry Veteran, 40 Years of Experience
Having served in leadership roles at TAFE, Mahindra, John Deere, Tata Motors, and Bajaj Auto, Mr. Maulick offers a panoramic view of the tractor and automobile sectors.

Mr. P.K. Verma
Government Agriculture Mechanisation Expert
With 42 years in farm machinery policy and implementation, Mr. Verma’s deep understanding of public sector machinery programs is an asset to the jury.
