Nestlé Announces New Partnerships to Accelerate Regenerative Agriculture Worldwide

Nestlé has launched two strategic global collaborations aimed at expanding regenerative agriculture, strengthening ecosystem resilience, and mobilizing the next generation of farmers in the climate transition. The partnerships—one with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and the other with Goodwall—highlight the company’s growing focus on sustainable sourcing and landscape-level environmental stewardship.

Under the collaboration with The Nature Conservancy, Nestlé will scale regenerative farming models that improve soil health, enhance water management, increase biodiversity, and build long-term agricultural resilience. The partnership will support science-based interventions and farmer-led innovation platforms, helping producers adopt practices such as cover cropping, reduced tillage, precise nutrient management, and diversified cropping systems. Nestlé and TNC will also work together on implementing nature-positive solutions and monitoring their ecological impact across supply regions.

The second partnership, with Goodwall, aims to engage young farmers and agri-entrepreneurs globally. Through digital challenges, community learning spaces, and skill-building initiatives, the collaboration seeks to inspire youth participation in climate-smart agriculture and equip them with practical tools to contribute to regenerative food systems. Nestlé noted that youth engagement is essential for meeting global sustainability targets, given demographic shifts and the urgent need for fresh talent in primary production.

The company said these collaborations represent a critical step in advancing its commitment to source 50% of key ingredients through regenerative methods by 2030. Nestlé emphasized that large-scale adoption of such practices is vital not only for climate mitigation but also for ensuring long-term food security and farm profitability.

By integrating environmental science, farmer capacity-building, and youth empowerment, Nestlé aims to accelerate a systemic shift toward more resilient agricultural landscapes worldwide.
