Praveen Ostwal Strengthens Indo-UK Trade Ties in Fertilizer and FMCG Sectors under ‘Make in India’ Vision

Mr. Praveen Ostwal, Managing Director of Ostwal Group of Industries, has once again demonstrated his commitment to India’s industrial growth by spearheading efforts to enhance international trade and collaboration in the fertilizer, agrochemical, and FMCG sectors. A leading figure in the MSME ecosystem, Mr. Ostwal has been instrumental over the past two decades in supporting the Government of India’s “Make in India” initiative through innovation, manufacturing excellence, and global outreach.

During his recent visit to the United Kingdom, Mr. Ostwal engaged with several senior government officials and prominent business leaders to explore opportunities for bilateral trade and investment between India and the UK. His discussions aimed at fostering strategic partnerships and technological collaboration, particularly in the areas of fertilizer production, agrochemical development, and consumer goods.

One of the key highlights of his visit was a high-level meeting with Lord Rami Ranger at the House of Lords, the upper chamber of the UK Parliament. The meeting focused on expanding collaboration under the “Make in India” framework. Both sides expressed keen interest in exploring joint ventures and investment opportunities in India’s fast-growing fertilizer and FMCG sectors.

Speaking about the interaction, Mr. Ostwal emphasized the importance of Indo-UK cooperation in technology transfer, product innovation, and sustainable manufacturing. He noted that such engagements could pave the way for world-class product development and export potential from India’s MSME sector.

In addition to parliamentary engagement, Mr. Ostwal also met with senior officials from various UK ministries. These discussions revolved around technical collaborations aimed at developing advanced, high-quality products in the fertilizer and agrochemical industries. The focus remained on harnessing global expertise to enhance the competitiveness and quality of Indian manufacturing.

Mr. Ostwal’s leadership continues to make a meaningful impact on both industry and agriculture. His global outreach is expected to open new avenues for international partnerships, thereby reinforcing India’s position as a key player in the global fertilizer and agrochemical markets.
