To highlight the importance of India’s agriculture sector and the role of the crop protection industry, CropLife India will organize the National Conference 2025 on September 26, 2025, at the Constitution Club, New Delhi.
The central theme of this year’s conference is “Viksit Bharat 2047: One Trillion Dollar Contribution from Agriculture – Role of the Crop Protection Industry”. The event will feature participation from senior officials of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, and the Central Insecticides Board and Registration Committee (CIBRC). Representatives from the agrochemical industry, academia, and leading think tanks will also be present.
Conference Schedule and Highlights:
- Registration and badge distribution will begin at 9:30 AM, followed by sessions starting from 11:00 AM.
- The highlight of the event will be the CEO’s Panel Fireside Chat on the theme: “Pesticides in Headlines: Villain, Hero, or Scapegoat?” – a discussion aimed at addressing the perception, significance, and future direction of the crop protection industry.
Organizers emphasized that the conference will send a strong message: the crop protection industry is not only vital for food security, but also for enhancing farmers’ income and strengthening the Indian economy.
