In a groundbreaking move for India’s automobile industry, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd. has launched the country’s first embedded smart tyres for the passenger vehicle segment, marking a historic milestone in intelligent and connected mobility.
Designed and developed entirely by JK Tyre’s in-house R&D team, these next-generation tyres are manufactured at the company’s state-of-the-art facility in Banmore, Madhya Pradesh. Each tyre is equipped with advanced sensors that continuously monitor key parameters such as air pressure, temperature, and potential leaks, delivering real-time data to enhance vehicle safety, performance, and efficiency.
This innovation not only aligns with the vision of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ and ‘Make in India’, but also reinforces JK Tyre’s leadership in developing cutting-edge, home-grown technology. Engineered for longer tread life, better fuel efficiency, and reduced environmental impact, the new embedded smart tyres combine sustainability with performance.

Initially, the embedded smart tyres will be available in sizes ranging from 14 to 17 inches across JK Tyre’s dealer network nationwide.
