PM Modi to Visit Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu on November 19; To Inaugurate South India Natural Farming Summit 2025 and Release 21st PM-KISAN Instalment

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a day-long visit to Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu on 19 November 2025, where he will participate in key spiritual, agricultural, and farmer-welfare events. The visit marks an important milestone in honouring the legacy of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba and furthering the government’s commitment to sustainable agriculture and farmer support.

The Prime Minister’s day will begin in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, where he will arrive at around 10:00 AM to visit the holy shrine and Mahasamadhi of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. He will offer prayers and pay his respects before joining the Centenary Celebrations scheduled at 10:30 AM. As part of the programme, the Prime Minister will release a Commemorative Coin and a set of Postal Stamps dedicated to Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, celebrating his teachings, humanitarian service, and lasting spiritual legacy. The Prime Minister will also address the gathering of devotees and dignitaries assembled for the occasion.

Following the ceremony in Puttaparthi, Prime Minister Modi will travel to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, to inaugurate the South India Natural Farming Summit 2025 at around 1:30 PM. The Summit, being organised by the Tamil Nadu Natural Farming Stakeholders Forum, will run from 19 to 21 November 2025 and is aimed at promoting climate-smart, chemical-free, and sustainable agricultural practices across the southern region.

During this event, the Prime Minister will release the 21st instalment of the PM-KISAN scheme, amounting to over ₹18,000 crore, benefiting nearly 9 crore farmers across the country. The instalment reflects the government’s continued effort to provide direct financial assistance to farmers and support them during the crop cycle.

The Summit is expected to draw participation from more than 50,000 individuals, including farmers, natural farming practitioners, scientists, organic input suppliers, agro-processing entrepreneurs, and representatives of farmer-producer organisations. Delegates from Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh will take part in discussions and exhibitions centred on regenerative agriculture, organic inputs, eco-friendly packaging, market access, and innovations in indigenous technologies.

Through this visit, Prime Minister Modi is set to highlight both India’s spiritual heritage and its transformative journey towards sustainable agriculture and improved farmer welfare.
