Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Business Records Strong 33% Growth with 42,273 Tractors Sold in November 2025

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Business (FEB), a key division of the Mahindra Group, reported a strong performance for November 2025, posting robust growth in both domestic and international tractor markets. The company sold 42,273 tractors in India during the month, a significant increase from 31,746 units sold in November 2024, marking a 33 percent year-on-year rise. Total tractor sales, including exports, reached 44,048 units compared with 33,378 units in the same period last year, underscoring continued momentum in the sector. Export sales contributed 1,775 units, reflecting a 9 percent growth over the previous year.

This sustained performance builds on the company’s impressive run during the 2025 festive season, where sales in September and October recorded a combined growth of 27 percent. According to Veejay Nakra, President of Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Business, the November results highlight strengthening market sentiment and increasing confidence among farmers across the country. He attributed the upward trend to several supportive factors, including record output during the kharif season, expanding rabi sowing acreage, and government policies that have improved farmers’ financial stability.

Nakra noted that the recent reduction in GST rates for select agricultural equipment, along with higher Minimum Support Prices (MSP), has boosted liquidity for farmers and stimulated demand for both tractors and farm implements. These measures, he said, have contributed meaningfully to the positive sales environment heading into the winter cropping cycle. On the international front, the 9 percent increase in exports reinforces Mahindra’s growing presence in global farm machinery markets.

As one of the world’s leading tractor manufacturers, Mahindra continues to benefit from rising mechanization in agriculture, improved rural income prospects, and increased adoption of modern farming technologies. The company’s strong November results signal continued demand heading into the critical rabi season and position Mahindra favorably for sustained growth in the months ahead.
