
Tata Chemicals Limited reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening India’s research and innovation ecosystem through its participation in the CII Global Summit on Industry–Academia Partnership 2025, held at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The summit brought together leaders from industry, academia, and government to deliberate on practical frameworks for accelerating collaboration and enhancing India’s R&D capabilities.
At the accompanying exhibition, Tata Chemicals showcased a range of recent product innovations and highlighted its active collaborations with leading research institutions across the country. The company’s exhibit attracted strong interest from industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers, reflecting the growing relevance of science-led innovation in addressing complex industrial and societal challenges.
The inaugural session of the summit was addressed by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Science and Technology, who later visited the exhibition area and interacted with representatives from academia and industry, including the Tata Chemicals team. His engagement underscored the importance of collaborative research models in driving national innovation priorities.
In a significant recognition of its sustained efforts, Tata Chemicals was named the Grand Jury Winner in the Industry – Large Manufacturing category at the CII Industry–Academia Partnership Awards 2025. The award acknowledges organizations that have demonstrated excellence in building impactful, long-term research partnerships that translate scientific knowledge into real-world applications.
