University of Florida Invests in AI-Powered AgTech in Tampa Bay

The University of Florida (UF) is making a major push to strengthen the future of agriculture by investing in AI-powered agricultural technology (AgTech) initiatives in the Tampa Bay region. The move reflects UF’s commitment to integrating cutting-edge research with real-world farming solutions, aiming to boost both productivity and sustainability in the agricultural sector.

According to university officials, the investment will focus on developing advanced artificial intelligence applications tailored to agriculture, including crop monitoring, soil health analysis, water management, and precision farming tools.
