Glymax Paraguay S.A. made a strong impact at the recent Agrodinámica agricultural trade show, where the company presented its complete portfolio of crop solutions and introduced several key product launches for Paraguayan farmers. The event was held from December 2 to 6 in Hohenau, Itapúa, and attracted a large audience of producers, agronomists, and industry professionals from across the region.
At its spacious and well-equipped booth, Glymax showcased innovations spanning soybean genetics, corn hybrids, crop protection products, and fertilizers. Throughout the exhibition, the company’s technical and commercial teams provided hands-on support and personalized guidance, reinforcing Glymax’s focus on close relationships with farmers and high-quality technical assistance.
One of the major highlights was the launch of Pladius Xpert, a new fungicide introduced in partnership with Sumitomo Chemical of Japan. According to Thalles Ferreira, Agrochemicals Manager at Glymax, the product represents a significant advancement in disease control, particularly for soybean rust. Pladius Xpert combines three active ingredients in a single formulation, offering high efficacy and a broad spectrum of protection, positioning it as a strategic tool for crop health management.
In the seeds segment, Glymax unveiled new soybean and corn genetics adapted to Paraguayan growing conditions. Víctor Aquino, Southern Commercial Manager for Glymax Paraguay, highlighted three new high-oleic soybean varieties from Seedcorp, including HO Cascavel I2X, HO Paraguaçu I2X, and HO Prata I2X. These varieties were presented as high-yielding, stable options designed to express strong performance under local production environments. New LG corn hybrids were also introduced, expanding the company’s genetic portfolio.
Beyond seeds and crop protection, Glymax emphasized its role as a comprehensive agricultural solutions provider. With more than two decades of experience in the region, the company offers a wide range of products, including specialty fertilizers, agrochemicals, genetics, and biological solutions. Mosaic specialty fertilizers drew particular attention for their high solubility and efficient nutrient delivery.
Company representatives noted that Glymax’s continued growth is built on farmer trust and a highly trained sales and technical team. Looking ahead, Glymax plans to keep expanding its portfolio with innovative technologies, supporting productivity and sustainable agricultural development in Paraguay.
