AlgaEnergy India Shines at Agri Business Summit & Awards (ABSA) 2025 – Special Session Focuses on Soil Health and Sustainable Agriculture

AlgaEnergy India, a leading name in sustainable agri-biotechnology, made a strong and impactful presence at the Agri Business Summit & Awards (ABSA) 2025, a premier event dedicated to promoting innovation and sustainability in Indian agriculture. The prestigious summit, organized by RAY One Agri Consulting LLP, brought together leading experts, researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders from across the country to discuss the future of Indian agriculture and agri-technology.

Session on “Soil Strategy to Agricultural Renaissance”

During the event, Mr. Debabrata Sarkar, Chairman of AlgaEnergy India, delivered an insightful address on the theme “Soil Strategy to Agricultural Renaissance.” In his keynote speech, he highlighted how Indian agriculture is evolving beyond the chemical-based Green Revolution model toward a more sustainable and environmentally responsible Evergreen Agriculture Model. This paradigm shift, he noted, will not only enhance productivity and profitability but also ensure long-term soil health and ecological balance.

Mr. Sarkar emphasized that a healthy and biologically active soil is the foundation of sustainable agriculture. He called for a scientific and soil-centered approach that integrates natural processes and innovation to achieve what he termed a “New Agricultural Renaissance” in India.

Microalgae – The Key to Soil Health Restoration

One of the major highlights of Mr. Sarkar’s session was his focus on the revolutionary role of microalgae-based innovations in transforming soil health. He explained that microalgae, or microscopic algae, play a crucial role in restoring soil fertility, improving structure, and activating essential biological components that enhance nutrient availability and microbial activity.

According to him, microalgae-based bio-products are proving to be effective in soil reclamation, conditioning, and enhancement, offering farmers natural and powerful tools to rejuvenate their farmlands. These innovations are enabling farmers to achieve higher yields, greater climate resilience, and sustainable farming systems while simultaneously reducing input costs and protecting the environment.

Science-Driven Sustainability and Agricultural Transformation

Mr. Sarkar further underscored that the future of Indian agriculture lies in a holistic approach that combines science, sustainability, and soil health. AlgaEnergy India, through its advanced research and bio-based solutions, is working to empower Indian farmers with the tools and knowledge required for environmentally balanced and economically viable farming.

He reiterated that this is the era of a new “Agricultural Renaissance” — one driven by innovation, scientific integrity, and a commitment to regenerating the soil. By integrating biotechnology with traditional wisdom, the company aims to transform Indian agriculture into a model of global sustainability.

Commitment to Sustainable Growth

AlgaEnergy India’s participation in ABSA 2025 reflects its commitment to advancing sustainable agriculture, soil regeneration, and climate-smart farming. The company’s vision is to connect Indian farmers with nature-based innovations that enhance crop performance while conserving natural resources.

Through its pioneering work in microalgae biotechnology, AlgaEnergy India continues to demonstrate how science-led sustainability can reshape the future of Indian agriculture. Its participation at ABSA 2025 sent a powerful message — that the prosperity of India’s farming future depends on the synergy between soil, science, and sustainability.
